DJ D-Nice took over Instagram last weekend, hosting a virtual dance party he coined #ClubQuarantine, hoping music would elevate the mood of people all around the universe after week one of them having to practice social distancing in order to stop the spread of the Coronavirus. As more and more people tuned in, the legendary DJ’s set became the most sociable bash of the year—and the most talked about—attracting an array of A-listers, including Michelle Obama, Rihanna, Oprah, Steph Curry, and Janet Jackson. Even Joe Biden and Bernie Sanders stopped by the cyber musicfest. At its apex, D-Nice had more than 100K people rocking to his infectious melodies, which included everything from house to old-school R&B to funk to Afrobeat to jazz. And by the time the Bronx-native wrapped, he had hit more than 1 million Instagram followers, up from 200K when the party started.                                                                                                                                                                                                      By Sabrina Bovell
